Kara Holmes began her dance journey at the age of 4 at Dance Power Studios on the Central Coast before advancing to Sydney’s ED5 Studios, where she earned her Certificate IV in Dance. She later returned to the Central Coast to further her education at Lee Academy, receiving her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, Diploma of Dance, and Advanced Diploma of Elite Performance.
In addition to her dance qualifications, Kara is a certified personal trainer with both Certificate III and IV in Fitness, an accredited Pilates instructor, and a former gymnastics coach.
Over the course of her career, Kara has performed internationally in a wide range of professional shows, corporate events, and commercial projects.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, Kara is deeply committed to educating and mentoring youth. She has worked with children from a wide variety of backgrounds, including autistic, disadvantaged, and disabled youth, tailoring her approach to foster confidence, creativity, and self-expression through dance.
She takes pride in empowering her students, instilling in them a positive outlook, strong technique, and a deep sense of body awareness. Her teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that creativity, movement, and fun should always go together.
